Jean Houghland

My work has a broad subject base. I paint from observation, the human figure, the mountain landscape; trees, rocks, seascapes, waterfalls and flowers. I use watercolour, oils, acrylic, inks, collage and mixed media to create unusual paintings of people, costume, memories, dreams, still life, abstract, interpretations of places and poetry.
