Côr y Traeth is one of the main male choirs in Wales winning the National Eisteddfod and many overseas competitions. The conductor is Annette Bryn Parri. A warm welcome is given to new members. A special open rehearsal will be held in the Ucheldre Centre at 7.45 on Monday 17 April. During school term time, rehearsals are every Monday night at 7.45pm at The Goronwy Owen School, Benllech.

I graduated in fine art paintings at Sheffield College of Art and taught both there and in London. There are new small oils, watercolours, cards and prints of Anglesey. A wide selection of artist Crys Pearce’s mixed media paintings. Images this year are inspired by recent visits to South Sinai, and Europe (the Mediterranean, Switzerland) and, of course, studies made in Wales.

A small ensemble theatre company attached to the Ucheldre Centre. Formed over ten years ago, it performs 2-3 English language productions a year with recent ones including plays by Rattigan, Dylan Thomas and Shakespeare. New talent always welcome, no experience necessary. A performance of selected highlights from previous Shakespeare productions will be held in the Ucheldre Centre on Monday and Tuesday 10 and 11 April at 7.30pm.
