Philippa Jacobs' new series of 52 small and 6 larger paintings inspired by the Anglesey coastal walk. TUESDAY 18 MAY - WEDNESDAY 2 JUNE. Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm, Sunday 2-5pm Exhibition Opens 7pm Tuesday 18 May, free admission, free refreshments, all welcome! Artist’s Statement - In recent years the coastal path around Anglesey has been updated and in some places rerouted where it has disappeared. I realised that although I have lived on Anglesey for over 20 years there were parts that I hardly knew or that I had never visited. So began the idea of walking the coastal path equipped with my sketching box and paints, to record the amazing skies and magnificent coastal landscape that have inspired people on Anglesey for hundreds of years.

AAWWelcome to our seventh Anglesey Arts Weeks!

We are celebrating the rich and varied creative talents on Anglesey by holding the Arts Weeks in two parts; Open Studios and Galleries over the Easter two weeks and then, in October, the Performing Arts.

During the Open Studios and Galleries weeks visual artists and open their studios to visitors.  You may find anything from cards and prints to buy, to exhibitions and installations of contemporary art to see in studios, chapels, barns, sheds, galleries and artists’ homes; a chance to meet and talk with the artist, often over a cup of tea, and gain a unique glimpse of the artistic process.
