A Group Exhibition

As this is the year of the sea the group decided to focus on

the beauty and diversity of what the oceans are and hold!

Theresa Fox-Byrne’s body of work focuses directly on societies throw away plastic culture. All kinds of plastic waste end up in the sea and plastic packaging, net, milk bottle tops, pharmaceutical drug packaging are but a small part of a group of installation pieces that will shock and hopefully create some discussion when viewed!

Cheryl Crichton-Edwards has created abstract mixed media landscapes and seascapes using found objects. She has incorporated stitch, weave, and drawn marks on paper and cloth that are a direct response to the landscape and seascape of North Wales.

Pat Butters has focused her theme on seascapes and coastal walks around North Wales using beautiful Welsh wools and stitch. She tries not only to capture the beauty and diversity of the seas but also the power and magnificence of nature.

Anwen Hughes has focused her work on creating felted pieces using Welsh wool, driftwood and washed up objects that she has collected from around the North Wales coastline. She also is passionate about the Welsh language and has included sayings and poetry into her pieces.

Exhibition runs until Friday 5 October
