The independent media company "Vision Thing" has been commissioned by BBC Radio Wales to produce a radio series called "Community Legacy" - the series involves them visiting various parts of Wales - in this instance Anglesey to run workshops.  The aim is to show people who are interested in taking part how radio production works.

They are hoping to hold workshops in the Anglesey area in late September/October - dates and venue to be confirmed.  There will be an initial "meet and greet" session where one of their producers, Rob Alexander, will meet up with interested people and explain how the workshops will work - people will then be invited to email their ideas for feedback, prior to the next workshop - this might take the form of an interesting local story, some scripted material, a poem etc.  There will then be another 2 workshops in which people will be shown how to shape the ideas, record and edit material.  Some of the material will then be broadcast by BBC Radio Wales.

Anyone interested in taking part should contact Anne Jenkins asap via email at Anne@vision-thing.com or Mondays to Thursdays between 9am and 4pm on 02920 551188.
