ART AND LANDSCAPE WALKS

We continue with previous year’s free walking tours. These have proved very popular by combining visits to artists’ studios with enroute insights into the landscape and history, which inspire many of our artists.

TOUR 1 – SUNDAY, 9 APRIL 2017: A sketching, and local interest walk with artist Christine Garwood and Guide Caroline Bateson commencing at the Holyhead Breakwater Park Café.

TOUR 2 – SATURDAY, 15 APRIL 2017: A studio and wildlife walk with Guide Caroline Bateson in the Penmon area commencing at Llangoed car park and linking artists’ studios.

TOUR 3 – MONDAY, 17 APRIL 2017: A studio and Landscape walk with Guide Kath Thomas commencing at Beach Car Park Porth Trecastell, and linking artists at LLanfaelog Village and Rhosneigr.

TOUR 4 – TUESDAY, 18 APRIL 2017: A sketching, and local interest walk in the Menai Straits/Bridges area with artist Christine Garwwood and Guide Caroline Bateson commencing at The Anglesey Arms, Menai Bridge.

TOUR 5 – WEDNESDAY, 19 APRIL 2017: A guided tour of the local area in the company of the artist Wil Rowlands, accompanied by Guide Kath Thomas, and commencing from his studio.
